Faucet Repair & Installation
Kitchen and bathroom faucet repair, replacement, and new installation. All brands.
That Drip Costs Real Money.
That drip is costing you money. A faucet dripping once per second wastes over 3,000 gallons a year — that adds up on your water bill for a problem you could fix today. But here's the thing most people don't realize: that drip is a symptom. The cartridge or valve seat inside the faucet is worn, and it's getting worse. What starts as a slow drip becomes a steady stream. Then the handle gets harder to turn. Then the base starts leaking. A small repair today turns into a full replacement next year if you wait. Cole's Plumbing has been fixing and installing faucets across the DFW area for 25 years. We carry the most common cartridges and parts on our trucks. Most faucet repairs take under an hour. Most installations take about two.

Time to Call
Any of these sound familiar? Call us. Small problems don’t stay small.
- Faucet drips when turned off
- Handle is hard to turn or feels gritty
- Water leaking from the base of the faucet
- Low water pressure from one specific faucet
- Rust or mineral buildup around the handles or spout
- Hot and cold mixing isn't working right

How It Works
Faucet work is straightforward when you know what you're doing.
Identify the faucet type
There are four types: cartridge, ball, disc, and compression. Each has different internal parts and failure modes. We identify yours and diagnose the problem. The service call covers this.
Repair or replace decision
If the faucet is a quality brand and the internal parts are available, we repair it. If it's a cheap builder-grade faucet or the body is corroded, replacement is the better value. We tell you both options and the cost of each.
Get it done in one visit
Repairs take 30 to 60 minutes. New faucet installations take 1 to 2 hours. We test for leaks, check water pressure, and make sure the hot and cold work correctly before we leave.
Why Cole's
Parts on the Truck
We stock Moen, Delta, and Kohler cartridges on our trucks. Most repairs don't require a second trip or a special order.
Supply Line Inspection
While we're under the sink, we check your supply lines. Old rubber hoses are the number one cause of under-sink flooding. We'll let you know if yours need replacing.
Proper Shut-Off Valves
If your shut-off valves are old gate valves that barely work, we recommend replacing them with quarter-turn ball valves. In an emergency, you need valves that actually shut off.
200+ Five-Star Reviews.
Chad came out the same day we called. He looked at our water heater, told us exactly what was wrong, gave us a price, and got it done that afternoon. No surprises on the bill. We've used other plumbers in the area and this was by far the best experience.
The last plumber we called tried to sell us a whole new system when all we needed was a valve replacement. Chad was honest about what the actual problem was and fixed it for a fraction of what the other company quoted. That's rare.
We had a slab leak and were panicking. Chad walked us through the whole process, explained what he was doing at every step, and his price was fair. He even followed up the next week to make sure everything was holding. This is the only plumber we'll call from now on.
Straight Answers.
If it's a quality brand like Moen, Delta, or Kohler and it's under 10 years old, repair it. The parts are available and affordable. If it's a no-name brand, over 15 years old, or corroded at the base, replace it. A new faucet with a warranty is a better value than repeated repairs on a cheap one.
Absolutely. Many customers prefer to pick their own style. We charge a flat installation rate for customer-supplied faucets. Just make sure it's a reputable brand — we've seen problems with the cheapest options at big box stores.
We give you the exact cost before we start. A simple cartridge swap is on the low end. A complete valve rebuild is on the higher end. Either way, no surprises.
Almost always a worn internal part: cartridge, O-ring, or valve seat. These are wear items that eventually fail in every faucet. Hard water accelerates the wear because mineral deposits grind against the seals. It's not a reflection of the faucet quality. Even good faucets need cartridge replacement every 8 to 15 years.
1 to 2 hours for a standard kitchen or bathroom faucet swap. If we need to replace the supply lines or shut-off valves underneath, add 30 minutes. We clean up the work area and test everything before we go.
