Sewer Camera Inspection
HD camera inspection to diagnose sewer line issues without digging. See what we see.
See the Problem Before Digging.
You can't fix what you can't see. And your sewer line is buried anywhere from 2 to 10 feet underground, running 30 to 80 feet from your house to the city main. When something goes wrong down there, guessing is expensive. A sewer camera inspection is a 45-minute procedure that tells you exactly what's happening inside your pipes. We push a waterproof HD camera through the line and record everything: cracks, root intrusion, bellied sections, offset joints, buildup, collapsed pipe. You watch the footage with us in real time. Cole's Plumbing recommends a camera inspection before any major sewer work and before buying any home in the DFW area built before 2000. The small upfront cost of an inspection can save you thousands in surprise repairs. We've been running sewer cameras since 2001 and we know what we're looking at.

When You Need One
Any of these sound familiar? Call us. Small problems don’t stay small.
- Recurring drain clogs that keep coming back
- Buying a home and want to know the sewer condition before closing
- Sewage smell in the yard or from drains
- Your home is over 20 years old and the sewer has never been inspected
- You want to verify a repair quote from another plumber

How It Works
It's simple, non-invasive, and takes less than an hour.
Access the cleanout
We locate your sewer cleanout, usually in the yard near the house or in the garage. If you don't have an accessible cleanout, we can install one. The service call covers the initial visit.
Run the camera
Our HD sewer camera feeds through the line from your house to the city connection. We record everything and mark distances as we go so we know exactly where each issue is located.
Review footage together
We walk you through the video on our monitor. We point out what's normal and what's not. No scare tactics. We explain what needs attention now, what can wait, and what's fine.
Why Cole's
HD Recording Provided
You get a copy of the full video. Share it with your realtor, insurance company, or keep it for your records. Other plumbers just show you and walk away.
Honest Interpretation
We don't point at a shadow on the camera and call it a major problem. 25 years of experience means we know the difference between a cosmetic imperfection and a real failure.
Distance-Marked Report
Every issue is logged with its exact distance from the cleanout. If you decide to repair later, any plumber can locate the problem precisely without re-inspecting.
200+ Five-Star Reviews.
Chad came out the same day we called. He looked at our water heater, told us exactly what was wrong, gave us a price, and got it done that afternoon. No surprises on the bill. We've used other plumbers in the area and this was by far the best experience.
The last plumber we called tried to sell us a whole new system when all we needed was a valve replacement. Chad was honest about what the actual problem was and fixed it for a fraction of what the other company quoted. That's rare.
We had a slab leak and were panicking. Chad walked us through the whole process, explained what he was doing at every step, and his price was fair. He even followed up the next week to make sure everything was holding. This is the only plumber we'll call from now on.
Straight Answers.
30 to 45 minutes for a standard residential sewer line. If the line is blocked and needs cleaning first, add another 30 to 60 minutes for that. We can usually do both in a single visit.
Absolutely. Home inspectors don't inspect sewer lines. A camera inspection can reveal thousands of dollars in hidden sewer problems. We do pre-purchase inspections regularly and can provide a report for your real estate negotiation.
Tree root intrusion, cracked or broken pipe, bellied sections where water pools, offset joints, corrosion, buildup, and full collapses. We also identify the pipe material so you know what you're working with.
Yes. We provide the full HD recording. Some plumbers charge extra for this or don't offer it at all. We include it because it's your pipe and your information.
Every 3 to 5 years for homes over 20 years old. Annually if you have known tree root problems. And always before buying a home. Think of it like a dental checkup for your plumbing.
