What to know about Dallas plumbing
Dallas has the most diverse range of home ages of any city we serve. The M Streets and Lakewood neighborhoods have homes from the 1920s-1940s where the original pipe systems have been in the ground for 80-100 years. Far North Dallas has 1990s-2000s construction that is just entering the first major maintenance window. Everything in between is somewhere on that curve.
Highland Park and University Park (both separate municipalities within Dallas) have their own building departments and permitting processes. We pull all permits and coordinate inspections for every qualifying job. The inspection history matters on resale, particularly in Park Cities where buyers and their inspectors are thorough.
North Texas clay soil is the underlying driver of slab leaks and sewer issues across all Dallas neighborhoods. Homes built on the more expansive clay sections near White Rock Creek and the Trinity River corridor see more movement-related issues than homes on higher ground.
Dallas Water Utilities serves most of Dallas proper. Water hardness in Dallas is moderate, which contributes to the sediment buildup in water heaters and to the mineral-content factor in copper slab leaks over time.
We reach Dallas from Carrollton via I-35E and Dallas Parkway. Same-day service is available for Dallas calls booked before noon. Nearby areas we cover on the same routes: Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, Richardson.

What homeowners near Dallas say
“We had a slab leak and were panicking. Chad walked us through the whole process, explained what he was doing at every step, and his price was fair. He even followed up the next week to make sure everything was holding. This is the only plumber we'll call from now on.”
Jennifer K.
Frisco, TX
“The last plumber we called tried to sell us a whole new system when all we needed was a valve replacement. Chad was honest about what the actual problem was and fixed it for a fraction of what the other company quoted. That's rare.”
Mike R.
Plano, TX
“Chad came out the same day we called. He looked at our water heater, told us exactly what was wrong, gave us a price, and got it done that afternoon. No surprises on the bill. We've used other plumbers in the area and this was by far the best experience.”
